A very clean-tasting non-iodized salt from the salt beds of Pangasinan. Briny and robust with defined crystal structure, yet delicate enough for finishing.

This salt is made on an irasan, a traditional salt bed lined with clay. It is irrigated with seawater and dried under the sun until the crystals emerge. This method is called "iras intsik" (as it was brought to the country by Chinese traders and settlers) and is used by people who have gently sloping coastlines and a good amount of breeze to help dry the salt.

Unlike refined table salt, sea salt is mineral-rich, with moisture as a vehicle to better season your dishes with. We do not believe in fortified salts. This is natural sea salt, as harvested.

Available in kilo and 100g brown paper bags.
