MALUNGGAY LEAF POWDER (ILOCOS NORTE)

An indigenous superduperfood! Packed with iron, calcium, and vitamin C. Organically grown and gently dried. 

We use this to make our own malunggay pills at home. But since research indicates malunggay is most bioavailable when you boil it (tinola power!), we also sprinkle it into our boiling salabat tea and add a tablespoon when we are boiling rice. (Malunggay absorbs contaminants from the air, so palengke or urban malunggay is a bit scary for us.)
