RAW WILD HONEY (SAGAY, NEGROS OCCIDENTAL)

This pollen-forward honey is harvested from wild putyokan or Philippine giant honeybee (Apis dorsata breviligula) hives in the Bgy. Puey in upland Sagay City. The light amber-colored honey has a round, sweet flavor with some acidity towards the finish. It also has a slight fermented note that is common among wild-harvested putyokan honey.
