STINGLESS BEE HONEY (TAYABAS, QUEZON)

Pulot ng lukot or stingless bee honey from Tayabas, Quezon—produced by the small, black Tetragonula biroi bees—is known for its tangy taste, high antioxidant content, and natural antibacterial properties. Also called kiwot in other parts of the country, these bees are great pollinators of fruit trees and other flowering plants. Their prized honey is traditionally used to soothe sore throats, improve digestion, and support immunity. It is also used for wound healing.
