This pollen-forward honey is harvested from wild putyokan or Philippine giant honeybee (Apis dorsata breviligula) hives in the coffee forest of Baslay, Dauin. The amber-colored honey has a slightly acidic, pineapple-like flavor. It also has a slight fermented note that is common among wild-harvested putyokan honey.
